We want to be useful… really useful. To do that, we need to know what’s needed. We’re very passionate about involving the people whose lives are shaped by autism.
During the last few months of 2017, we worked closely with Professor Simon Baron-Cohen at the University of Cambridge, to survey over 150 autistic families. The aim of the survey was to understand where these families felt they had most and least support, where they are using technology already and what they’d like to see in the future.
One of our favourite questions was “if you had a magic wand and could invent anything you wanted, what would it be?”
We’d like you to tell us about the technology that’s available today. What tech is there? What do you like about it? What do you not like about it? How can it be improved?
If there’s something else you’d like to tell us that’s not covered in the survey, please contact us.
Understanding needs is an ongoing activity. If you’re the parent of one or more autistic children under 16, and if you haven’t done so already, we’d love you to complete our survey.
